Resources for Clergy
Communion Partners seeks to create a place of meeting for those who share a common commitment to the historic faith and order of the Church, gathering for times of learning, prayer, encouragement, discernment, and connection.
We bring together church leaders to collaborate for developing resources that will articulate faithful teaching and lay the foundation for evangelism and discipleship in our congregations. We also recognize that Christian ministry is often a lonely vocation, and hope to support and encourage those who are weary and who are isolated in their local ministry context because of their convictions. We connect church leaders and congregations who are discerning God’s call, knowing the importance of wise and faithful leadership for sustained renewal.
As we implement our new governance structure in 2026, we expect that new structures to connect and support clergy will be developed. But we already are active in several areas, and invite others to join us.
Annual Retreat
For many years, the Communion Partners have gathered in January for a retreat, with time for worship, fellowship, inspiring presentations, updates from around the Anglican Communion. Our 2026 Retreat will be held at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas from January 13-15.
You can learn more and register here.
Discernment Committee
For the past several years, an informal group of clergy who serve in parishes, dioceses, and at seminaries across the Episcopal Church have gathered about every two months to discern about candidates for various calls in dioceses and parishes who are affiliated with Communion Partners or supportive of our witness. We welcome confidential inquiries from search committees and from clergy and seminarians who are committed to the Church’s historic faith and order.

Chapters-in-Formation
Communion Partner chapters are regional networks that gather on a periodic basis for prayer, fellowship, and learning. At our 2025 retreat, we gathered as chapters-in-formation, and each group has designated a convener. We envision forming more chapters soon.
If you are interested in participating in a chapter, please contact the convener directly. If you would like to form a chapter in your region, please reach out to Gay Hayslett, our administrator, at ghayslett@incarnation.org
